An Atheist may seem like they've simply given up on life.
But in truth, they are the ones who are living life to the fullest.
They do not think that there is an after life
where we can frolic and dance for eternity.
They believe that the life they live right now, is the only
life they have, and the only life they will ever have.
They treasure life more then anyone.
They care about others not because they were
told that it is the right thing to do, but because
they feel that it is the right thing to do.

Essentially, the burden of proof is on the person claiming that something does exist.
But if you believe in god, you go to heaven. If you don't, you go to hell. If God doesn't exist, you die whether or not you believe. So why not believe in God just in case He exists?

This is all true. Very true, I myself am an atheist and I'm living my life to the fullest. I grew up in a Christian family, and as I grew up, I found it miserable to live a life believing in something that isn't real. I rather be free to make my own choices, not be held back from doing certain things that are considered bad in the Christian eye.
